Tomorrow morning at 10 EST, Guardian editors Alan Rusbridger and Janine Gibson will be holding a live chat. They have introduced a Twitter hashtag, #myNSAquestion, for asking questions in advance. Below are questions I’ve tweeted. If you endorse these questions, I would greatly appreciate your retweeting them, to popularize the issues that they raise and to increase the likelihood that they will be asked. Thanks.
Here is the Guardian’s tweet about the chat:

I’m a huge fan of your and Glenn’s, and I greatly enjoy your probing of his actions and motives (and the Guardian’s), but I think you may have missed the point of the Miranda affair. Am I the only one who noticed that it was a massively successful publicity stunt? http://albertsblog.stickypatch.org/2013/08/25/did-glenn-greenwald-pull-a-fast-one-on-nsa-and-gchq.aspx
(Slightly O/T but on spying) Laura Poitras has a new article up on Spiegel International.
You’re going to get your chance to ask these questions in an environment where ignoring your question will be embarrassingly conspicuous.
Greenwald and Janine Gibson are doing a Reddit AMA at 1PM EDT on October 1st, if you show up and ask your questions as early as possible they will likely by upvoted and it will become embarrassing not to address them. Just don’t be too barbed or the celebrity worshippers will downvote you.
I managed to get Rusbridger to claim he has never heard of the Propaganda model this way, and compare Manufacturing Consent to Harry Potter.
